Gym is a playful and versatile stacking chair inspired by a well-known type of plywood and steel school chair. Two key features improve on the original. The tubular steel frame diameter is reduced from 3/4" to 5/8" to give the chair its light poise, and the molded, translucent polypropylene back and seat are shaped for greater comfort. Available in 19 colours, Gym is intentionally simple, designed for greatest impact when used for large assemblies of people.

1997-1999

Two stools, two tables, and a dolly expand the Gym family of products. The bar and counter-height stool adapt the light structure and the seat and back of the Gym chair. The dining table features a pivoting top and base configuration that allows the tables to nest together for efficient storage. The accompanying dolly uses a chair shape to create movable storage for 15 stacking chairs. Manufactured by Keilhauer.
